The Ikea stool? It turns into a postcard

How many ideas pop into your mind when you take a stroll in an Ikea store? Graphic designer Lorenzo Bravi (www.lorenzobravi.com) had a very particular one: to use  furniture by the Swedish giant as ‘prints’ to create either figurative or abstract typographic compositions . Do you wonder what this is all about (and maybe also about whether his techniques can be replicated at home)? An occasion to see the letters, characters and objects printed by Lorenzo is the exhibition dedicated to his work called Ikea Press, at the 121+ Bookshop in Milan, from Nov 24 till Dec 8. www.corraini.it/boxcorraini.php
